Start a new map in Visio (for a beginner's guide, see Tutorial Step 1; for general information, see Working in Visio). |

Create a new map in Excel (see Working in Excel). Excel opens with the sample Triaster Excel template. |
| Save All Maps in Visio |
Load all process maps in the Multi-Map Root folder into Visio, test for errors, upgrade and save. See User Actions Required panel for debug information. |
| Enable Triaster in Selected Maps |
For selected maps only, enable Triaster functionality next time the file is loaded in Visio. |
| Enable Triaster in All Maps |
For all maps, enable Triaster functionality next time the file is loaded in Visio. |
| Generate Matching Rules File |
Output a file containing the default mappings from Visio shapes to Triaster shapes.
This file can then be edited to define matching rules for shapes in non-standard diagrams. |
